Despite my best efforts not to fall for the third acts overwhelming charms, I couldn't help it. The low-brow humour and dodgy tricks all washed away from my memory because of the chemistry between the leads, the direction, the obvious fact that a majority of the budget disappeared in the filming of the climax and that fucking. theme. music.
