Letterboxd — Your life in film

alain resnais once called chris marker “the prototype of the 21st-century man”. having only seen a handful of his works, i’d acknowledged this sentiment but never fully understood it until i bore witness to Ouvroir the Movie. via his somewhat disquieting fursona, 89 year-old marker uses some of his last time on this mortal plane to take us on an adventure that, years later, one might consider “kinda like a minecraft base tour”.
