I didn't love it at the time, but this isn't terrible. I don't think NWH makes this retroactively better, I think that it was hard to follow up Spider-Man 1 & 2. This films mostly struggles from a relatively weak third act and a villian who - while in ways sympathic - has a plan that is genunely very stupid.

This will require a proper review at a later time, but I want to get a few thoughts down quickly.

Holy shit did I love this show. "Dom loves Amy Adams" isn't really news to anyone who has heard me talk about movies, but Sharp Objects was something new. ★★★½

I'm having trouble with this one. I liked High Life, to be sure, but I found it challenging. Much like Moon, one of my favorite movies, it explores isolation, the extent of human cruelty, and hope in a hopeless situation.

This is a cruel movie. Any trigger warning you can think of should probably be slapped on it. I think it handles all of it well, but it doesn't make it easier to watch, which was the point.

Visually the movie is stunning, every shot felt considered.

    I don't know if I'll return to High Life, but it's a trip I'm glad I took.
