This probably deserves a lower rating from me because, let's face it, it's a mess. But Dammit! I had too much fun with it to give it a lower score. The cast is all good, but Ben Affleck steals the show as Batman. This is my favorite movie adaptation of that character by far. He kills criminals, brands criminals, curses, stabs, shoots and blows up his way through the movie, and I loved it. He's been broken by the death of his parents (which is a fantastic scene, that reminded me of The Comedians death in Watchmen for some reason) and it really shows. He brings the physicality and badass-ness to the role that Bale (sorry) never did. Henry Cavill is fine as Supes. I really liked the scenes where he was questioning his own actions as Superman, and wondering if it wouldn't be better if he wasn't around. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor... I think is where most people are gonna draw the line. I bought him I guess, I think that's how a spoiled, genius rich kid would act, but there were definitely a few scenes that made me cringe. Gal Gadot, while her role is pretty limited, was great as Wonder Woman. Really enjoyed her. The story, like I'm sure you've heard by now, is indeed an overstuffed mess that could have been cut waaaay down, and it would've been a much better movie. But I still had fun with it, the action was great, the big fight is great, Batman is phenomenal... I liked it. If you know what you're getting into and don't set the bar too high, I think you'll like it to.
