I really wanted to like this one. I'm a big fan of Danzel Washington and enjoyed his performance. Actually, I only enjoyed his performance. In my opinion, the script of the movie wasn't consistent enough. It tried to show the emotional desperate private situation of Roman in a very perceptive kind. But it didn't work at all. The extreme pressure on Roman made him paranoid. Intermittently, even his perception was impaired. Sometimes it felt quite confusing. Dan Gilroy wanted desperately…
I've hoped for so long to seeing this sequel. Please don't delay it anymore!
Train to Busan surprised back in 2016 the international audience. It's more than a simple zombie flick situated in South Korea.
This is a father and daughter story; a thrilling drama. Their storyline crosses several other characters which their fates unite them all in this train to Busan.
The movie takes its time to deepens several characters without losing pace or becoming boring.
It's partly a bit of cheesy but it's absolutely enjoyable, dramatic and full of action.
In my eyes one of the best zombie movies ever.
I remember the first time I'd heard of the movie. I didn't take it really serious and couldn't imagine how far it could be intertwined with Iron Man or all the other coming MCU movies. It was 2011 and I hadn't been a comic fan at all. I had started liking comic hero movies with Sam Raimi's Spiderman, Hulk, Batman begins, Dark Knight and Iron Man.
Who could have guessed what a visionary cinematic universe was Kevin Feige building.
