Koyaanisqatsi ★★★★½

I recommend watching this with high-quality headphones (not earbuds, they don't count) on an HDTV to really get the full experience of this film. Ron Fricke's cinematography is absolutely beautiful to watch and Philip Glass's soundscape creates an incredible feeling of paranoia and beauty. On top of that, there are some incredibly interesting statements philosophically about the state of human existence and the prevalence of technology (read Neil Postman's Technopoly and you'll make the connection).
