A midwestern gothic featuring this cast? My body isn’t ready for eerie shots of movement in corn fields, narrow gravel roads leading nowhere, rundown yet operational gas stations that look like they haven’t been visited in years, winter nights that seem to drag on longer than they should, paths cut out in the woods that extend deeper than youve ever been able to go because you can never convince your dog to tread further, flat lands with overcast skies, picket crosses and weathered barns displaying Jesus Saves in chipped white paint along the side, and the HELL IS REAL sign on the I-75.
Just kidding. I’m totally ready. I deserve this.
