A truly delightful biopic; its straightforwardness (unlike with many others) tinges it with a warm sweetness rather than lazy drabness. Murphy nails it, but the absolute MVP was Da'Vine Joy Randolph giving, for me, one of *the* performances of the year. I could've watched her Lady Reed for ten hours straight and still craved more. (Praying she isn't forgotten in the Supporting Actress race this season!)
