It's hard to imagine a more outrageously ridiculous premise for a film...everybody is totally corrupt. There are more explosions and wanton killings than any three film should have. And it's a buddy film with no conceivable reason for buddy-hood. Nevertheless, Kormákur is too good a filmmaker to make a dud. It's non-stop entertaining, as long as you're willing to leave your brain at home.
