Wow!
This is the first Tennessee Williams adaptation I’ve truly enjoyed. Horror in a small town that went on to inspire ‘The Simpsons’ Snake and his car lil bandit. Not until William Munny went to Big Whiskey were the stakes this intense for the protagonist of a film. Out of prison and into one cage after another, Valentine Xavier is expected to anchor those around him, but his fate is set.
