Kevin Burns’s review published on Letterboxd :
Even upon its initial release, much of this didn't play well, and the subsequent seventeen years have not been kind to it. It boggles the mind for instance, that anyone allowed Hank Azaria's performance to make it into the final cut. Probably even worse is how it casually integrates violent/abusive behavior into an otherwise stereotypical male romantic lead. That being said, there's plenty of solid material and you couldn't ask for a better cast. Walken is preternaturally funny in his brief appearance while Catherine Zeta-Jones plays an oblivious narcissist as if she's been doing it her whole life.
