Victoria ★★★½

A crime thriller that plays out in real time, and in only the one extended take, this is an enjoyable enough film that really only lifts up in the third act, when the main event occurs and tension immediately starts to rise. Everyone involved deserves some praise, and Laia Costa is especially likeable in the titular role, but it's a shame that the first half couldn't have been tightened up a bit. This could have easily been a fantastic, thrilling 90 minutes.
