This is some rich, dark badass filmmaking. Best edited series maybe ever. Immersive, impeccably performed, brilliant expansion of a great first novel.
Watching Logan Lucky, the lackluster return to the movie theater for Steven Soderbergh, who "retired" a couple years back, I couldn't help but think of the moronic charisma of characters created by Joel and Ethan Coen, most notably those in Raising Arizona. These thoughts also serve to illustrate just how wrong this production was in casting an array of actors who can't seem to get on the same page with their total bullshit "Southern" accents.
