    Puts the shoddily CGI'd cart before the perfunctorily characterized horse, trying to reverse-engineer a fun superhero team-up with a cast that is 50% superheroes we've just met and have no connection to. This is what entertainment made in a shareholders' meeting looks like.

    My distaste for the climactic standing ovation in biopics is well documented, but at least once it happens, most movies have the good manners to end soon thereafter. Breathe staples on an entire act after its ovation moment, and ... well, let's just say that I never thought a movie could make me think back fondly on The Theory of Everything.
