It's alright. The performances are individually great, but the story doesn't really hold up on its own, especially when it comes to the intersections between the two main characters' storylines. There are some strong moments that do work, mainly due to Boseman's talent. It's just that the conflicting tensions, goals, and generations depicted here don't clearly crystallize as arcs, especially given the struggles of translating to this format.
