I’m always a fan of musical/drama kind of films, but I guess this one is off the hook. At first it gives me an awe. Terrific performance from Amy Adams and Gary Oldman were un-questionable. Enjoyed every single beautiful shots captured and designed. Apparently the last part was pretty off and I don’t think it’s a good way to end a movie. But I must say, it is well crafted, but maybe not well written.

Just what I was expecting from Charlie Kaufman. A journey to a cerebral dark love story. Using 3:4 to emphasize one’s minded-perspective. A bit Yorgos kinda feeling in the end. Successfully makes me wonder what it was all about and the book itself. It reminds me that I’m still an uncultured swine.
