Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Time has been kind to this sturdy historical lesson. It’s especially hard to believe that the antic, largely comedic Tom Hanks of “Turner & Hooch” was only six years earlier than this fatherly, noble Tom Hanks who anchors this prestige film. In some ways it almost doesn’t work; the Hanks of “Apollo 13” almost looks too young. But he makes it work, bringing gravitas beyond his years.
