Cursed with a really bad title that makes it sounds like a raucous comedy. But it's more interesting than that, though most of its merits can be attributed to Cory Finley’s direction, which lifts the B- script up a half-letter grade or so. Most of the movie is transfixing, but towards the end a tendency towards speechifying undercuts its artfulness. I'm still looking for Finley to make a breakthrough film though; he's clearly capable of it.
