Extremely efficient, tautly drawn little B-movie that far exceeds its expectations. The setup is spare almost to a fault, but it allow us to dive into the wildly frenetic payoffs very quickly. Mostow directs all of the escalations with the panache of a maestro, ratcheting up the tensions repeatedly and precisely. Russell is, as always, rock solid.

Last time I watched this was on VHS. It looks much better, even streaming on Prime Video!
