Remarkable in that it's a film beyond criticism; any complaint or suggested change you could raise would make this movie something else entirely. The filmmakers set out to create a very specific kind of picture—a cartoonishly violent, brazenly irreverent, sophomorically humorous vessel for consumption—and they did a hell of a job at it. It’s highly entertaining; it's just not the kind of movie that leaves you feeling good about having seen it.
