Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
No one told directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein that "Game Night," a franchise-less, mid-winter tax write-off of a flick, was meant to be slight and insubstantial. I know that because the paper thin plot is laden with surprising wit and there are more than a few jags of of showcase-worthy moviemaking throughout its hundred minute running time. Way more artful and surprising than it should be.
