Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was very surprised by how much less I liked this movie on the second viewing. The first act seemed very labored and schematic, much rougher and inelegant than I remembered. I also had a much harder time buying that this particular group of people were really friends—they seemed to have little chemistry between them, with perhaps the exception of Kathryn Hahn and Leslie Odom, Jr., whose characters were clearly having an affair. By the way: lovely couple.
