This movie flirts heavily with being a pleasingly camp cult classic. It has all the right elements—a talented director, a savvy screenwriter, a really promising cast, and even a suitably self-aware lead performance by Megan Fox. But it feels unfinished and never comes together. It never really upends your expectations, and worse it's not really scary at all. A missed opportunity.
