Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is not a perfect movie. The script is a little shaky, especially at the denouement, and the acting often feels a bit dinner theater. But it’s absolutely mesmerizing and I found myself unexpectedly on the edge of my seat at the climax, fully caught up in the drama, thanks in no small part to the stunning magnetism of lead Ariyan Johnson. It didn’t feel real the way verité feels real, but it felt unabashedly honest and urgent.
