Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hitchcock’s movies were always deeply psychological but when he tried to bring that psychology to the surface, as he does here, the results are shockingly pedestrian. Despite a committed performance by Sean Connery, who clearly had something to prove, this schmaltzy thriller is meandering and ill advised in nearly every way. Louise Latham’s comically bad southern fried accent is particularly offensive.
