Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ugh. I’d avoided this film for the longest time because I suspected it was exactly what it turned out to be. Two of the brightest stars from the peak screwball period are reduced to peddling post-war nuclear family nonsense and touting suburban consumer propaganda. The insipid misunderstandings, petty jealousies and painful comedy that power this script are far beneath Grant and Loy. A huge bummer.
