Kind of enjoyable as an artifact of a very dated view of the future. But the characters are thinly drawn and they act dumbly. Sort of like the characters in "Prometheus," which alongside "Alien," it obviously inspired. Also interesting to note how similar this is to early episodes of "Star Trek" too.
