Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
I can’t describe how much joy this movie has repeatedly given me over the years. It’s relentlessly inventive and nimble and light on its feet, and it never gets old despite this probably being my twentieth viewing. It’s also remarkably unsentimental for a children’s entertainment, which is why I prefer it over its admittedly magical predecessor and nearly all of its successors where the Kermit and Miss Piggy love story is just over the top schmaltzy. If Disney really wants to crack the code on the Muppets, this is the template they would be looking at.
