Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
For pure action craftsmanship, this isn’t bad. But the character work here is pretty rudimentary; the Americans are little more than archetypes and of course the Afghanis are barely afforded consideration at all. We also need to talk about the use of the typeface Bank Gothic for the innumerable title cards and lower-thirds throughout; that’s maybe the most unforgivable choice of all.
