Khoi Vinh’s review published on Letterboxd:
The plot is unrepentantly silly but Irene Dunn brings it to life. The moment when she turns the tables on Melvyn Douglas, the charming abandon in her voice, the carefree demeanor in her whole body, is pure delight. Less delightful is Douglas, but then history has been unkind to Dunn’s leading men other than Cary Grant in the wake of her pairing with him in the sublime “The Awful Truth.”
