Kian’s review published on Letterboxd:
“you’ll see bo again, and you can remember your lives together then.”
something very, very special. joins the likes of the florida project and american honey as an unembellished examination of americana, whilst also remaining entirely singular. it’s honestly pretty overwhelming what zhao manages to capture in nomadland’s relatively brief runtime. absolutely breathtaking on the big screen. i’ll be revisiting this one again as soon as possible so i can form something more cohesive.
