    As far as slasher sequels go, this is one of the absolute best!

    John Carpenter doesn't return to direct, but he did co-wrote and co-produce the film along with his fuck buddy Debra Hill, he also scored the film along with his other fuck buddy Alan Howarth, and Dean Cundey came back to do the cinematography, so it's basically a Carpenter film.

    A masterful thriller.

    This is another film that I wouldn't really consider horror, it's more of a suspense thriller in the same vain of films like Cape Fear. I guess this was Robert Mitchum's favorite kind of role, and who can really blame him!
