"the best defense is a good offense."

Bodies Bodies Bodies is a slasher so fresh that Jenna Ortega doesn't show up until the sequel.

PS: I wasn't totally sure on the rating... so I watched it twice. This is surprisingly solid without factoring in any pandemic production handicap.

Regional proclivities aside, BJ Novak makes one hell of an entrance with his debut film, Vengeance.
The writing is fabulous on many levels: naturally hilarious dialog, interesting characters, enveloping mystery, sharp satire, & accessibly harrowing social criticism.
The cast is surprisingly bang on (for the most part).
    The technicalities are sharp.
The final cut is lean, with no noticeable, disposable excess, & it still packs an epic punch.
