    The Batman

The Batman takes a fresh approach to the caped crusader as a self-contained detective story. The film is dark and gritty with stunning cinematic visuals and a haunting score to match. Nirvana’s “Something in the Way” captures the vibe perfectly. Robert Pattinson pulls off the character well, as a younger and less experienced Batman. My only issue with the movie is that at nearly 3 hours long, it seems to drag on in a few places. It would have been better about 30 minutes shorter, but it's still an entertaining movie. 7/10.
