This was great. The Doggy was nice! Good action sequences! Good characters! Good performances! Good directing!

And to think, if it weren’t for you, I never would have danced at all….

“Many have no known purpose at all….”
Best Jordan Peele movie so far methinks

  • The Gray Man

    The Gray Man

    Maybe this is unfair
But The Gray Man put me to sleep better than a bottle of melatonin flintstone gummies
Woke up with about 25 minutes left and I didn’t care enough about what was going on to rewind and finish it. How tf can you make RYAN GOSLING AS A SPY BORING

  • Nope

I will cast abominable filth at you,
    And make you vile,
    And make you a spectacle.

  • Spiderhead

    Nice cinematography and production design

  • Ms. Marvel

    Ms. Marvel

    Iman Vellini, great job
    Tv directors, great job

I enjoy certain moments of this, and the character stuff here, no matter how long it takes to get there, is good
The superhero mumbo jumbo here is just so mid
It gave me Glup Shitto vibes
Clandestines? More dimensions? It wants to just eat our dimension? Because… stakes

    Partition stuff = good
Red dagger stuff/clandestine stuff = cringe
Literal TikToks at the end = I was officially done

    I’m tired of marvel

Jordan Peele makes a gigantic leap with this one. It’s like Close Encounters and Jaws had a baby. I loved watching this larger than life movie in IMAX. Hoyte van Hoytema is the IMAX king. Kaluuya and Palmer are absolutely wonderful here and have great chemistry. Jordan Peele is really that dude tho! This movie is another banger! I will be patiently waiting for what comes next sir

So many intense moments… such wonderfully directed set pieces… nods to Kubrick… entertaining characters… great visuals
What the fuck’s not to love here, it’s all just phenomenal

    Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

A glorious taste of what’s to come… McQuarrie and Cruise are both insane and genius
Car chase! Followed by MOTORCYCLE CHASE!
    And that’s cinema to me

  • Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

    Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

The Tom Cruise renaissance starts here in 2011 when he swings around on the side of the Burj Khalifa for our pleasure

  • Thor: Love and Thunder

    Thor: Love and Thunder

Essentially just a retread of Thor: Ragnarok, so by extension, a lot of this fourth Thor seems recycled and uninspired, unfortunately. Taika Waititi’s comedic touch is here all throughout, but it’s not quite as fresh or zippy or just as funny as it has been in the past. Thor: Love and Thunder seems like more of a machine Marvel Cinematic Universe movie than Ragnarok did, and I think it boils down to the screenplay for the most part.
    Christian Bale’s…

  • Elvis

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis is grand, lavish, and has a truly grandiose feeling to it. This film plows through a 159-minute running time with energy and quick editing condensing years into seconds. It’s everything you should expect from Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.
Austin Butler’s magnificent performance as Elvis Presley is going to bring me back to this film in the future, probably many times. Butler seems to embody the man like his soul depends on it - the movement, the voice, the…
