Kabir Omerovic’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's a well done chronicle of all the ins and outs of this case. But for me, it served as a refresher as to why you shouldn't have faith in human kind. The filmmakers let the camera roll and have their characters trap and reveal themselves to be prejudiced, homophobic, racist, uninformed scum of the earth. The saddest aspect is that the kid who did the shooting is just a byproduct of his environment. The movie holds back on certain character sketches surrounding the family. But once you learn about the nazi stuff and the crystal meth do you realize the real nature of his environment.
