  I get that this is a Disney adaptation, but I’m still disappointed by how shallow it is. Sure, the songs are fun, but they basically showed almost nothing of the 12 labours of Hercules, other than the Lernaean Hydra. I don’t really get why Disney would adapt Hercules instead of something like the Odyssey. There’s plenty of Greek myths that are more suitable for a family friendly adaptation. Hercules certainly isn’t a bad movie at all, it’s just not what I expected…

  Is there really any reason for this to be released when The Rescue already exists? No.
  Is it still worth the watch, even if you’ve already seen the aforementioned documentary? Yes!
  Does it warrant the 2.5 hour runtime? Nahhh.
