    I really liked this film. I thought it was tense and exciting and best of all contained less car-chase silliness than the previous two. Even Bourne driving off the roof of a car park and walking away seemed believable after Furious 7. In my heart I prefer action films to star Vin Diesel and The Rock, but this was good. I'm glad I finally watched it :)

    To me this film doesn't have the depth or beauty of Drowning by Numbers (my favourite ever) or The Cook, The Thief etc, but it's fascinating and a visual pleasure. The slow revelation of the underlying machinations of the women is a relief after indignities suffered.

    To paraphrase Dom at the beginning of the film "The thing about an open road is, you can see where you're going, and you can see where you've been". This film calls back to the past and looks to the future. It shows us Brian on the cusp of turning away from the fast lane, Letty on the cusp of turning away from her old life, Dom giving her the space to choose.
