Movie I own but have yet to watch until now #9: Excessive Force II: Force on Force.
That's a lot of Force.
This in name only sequel to the Thomas Ian Griffith actioner is pretty lame. In the original Griffith is a cop who exercises excessive force and kills criminals (I think, it's been a while since I saw it). In this Stacie Randall is a military investigator hunting down a team of soldiers who left her for dead. She suffers headaches from a gunshot to the head. The way they simulate headaches is in fact headache inducing.
The action is pretty boring except for a police station siege in the end where she fails to save a single person. If the whole movie was that violent then maybe this wouldn't be so dull. The car chase is all right and a few of the fights are okay but nothing makes this a worthwhile watch.
The acting is also terrible. That's to be expected but wow the relationship between Randall and her doctor/boyfriend is notably awful.
If you come across this, maybe just watch the last 20 minutes. Not much else going on here.
