There is a lot of allegory and room for interpretation in this film. I think it will take one or more rewatches for me to get a better grasp on it. It's one of those films that didn't blow me away as I was watching, but that keeps growing on me the more I think about it, and I am confident in saying that it's a great one.
Sadly it didn't look or sound very good on a technical level (but I don't know to what extent this is due to the transfer vs how it was shot to begin with). Frame composition was still great though.
