À Nos Amours ★★★★½

The first Pialat I’ve seen and I can say that it was one of the better films to come out of this era of French cinema. The film explores emerging sexuality in a very unique and insightful way. Pialat is purposely inconsistent in how he presents the passage of time, which in a way alienates the viewer but also allows for an experience unlike any other coming of age film.
