Keaton Malone’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was suprised how much I truly enjoyed this film. The first one was an enjoyable action movie with some great choreography and action, but lacked great camerawork and acting. But this film improves on most of the flaws of the first. The action scenes are elongated and brutal. The cinematography has a sense of flair composed of neon lighting as well as natural light. The acting still isn’t perfect, but it’s not the focal point. The focal point is the fantastic action and the increased quality of directing makes it that much greater.
