If Plato's Cave, The Purge, and Doodlebob rolled into one 💕💕💕
I typically am not a lover of wholesome, coming-of-age, comedies--especially ones made so recently-- but Dumplin' played my heart strings like no other. From Dolly, Drag Queens, and Debutantes, to young love and teenage angst, this movie reminded me how much I love my body and, more importantly, how great it is to be called woman! 💕
My first Bollywood movie down in the books :)
Loved it, but apparently it wasnt that great according to the reviews and my Hindu friends. I guess I was blinded by the perfectly constructed artistic experience, and what's wrong with that?
Even better, if I enjoyed a "bad" Bollywood film, I'm gonna be blown away by the good ones.
Ah the perfect way to spend Valentine's evening alone: watch a movie where men are subject to their own oppression, and women, who seem as cute and innocent as rabbits, use their countless wounds as fuel to take over England. Oh, and still make time for reading, shooting guns, and pineapple.
It's great to be a lady. Will someone rub my legs?
