KMOKLER’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gabriele Muccino's emotional drama the pursuit of happiness was a film made before will smith and jaden smiths careers started going down hill the story is about a poor family left by there mum/wife who are low on there rent and there only way to afford a life is to sell there scanners and for Chris gardener to get a job as a stoke broker and this film is brilliant I want to get my flaws out of the way now so I can just start praising it, the film has too much melodrama but it works there's just to much of it and I couldn't watch this film over and over again I will watch it a bit more than once but not too many times, I did love the movie in the end though its emotional resonance and performances help the movie a lot its ashame the karate kid remake and after earth happened, so overall gabriele Muccino's the pursuit of happiness is a fantastic film because of its performances, emotion and story.
