I don't know if I've turned in to an old man or if Chantal Akerman is a genius, because I wasn't even bored.
Probably a bit of both. I'm not saying I was at the edge of my seat for the full 202 minute run time but I was fine with watching this lady go about her daily life. I was content with nothing happening, I found myself getting annoyed when dialogue started, I wanted the silence back. I was in the perfect mood to watch it today, if I watched it on any other day I wouldn't have made it through.
Any film that makes a concept like this interesting (to me) deserves 4.5.
