I'm surprised by the many one star reviews. This is pretty wonderful and weird (and campy). It kind of feels like an episode of Jim Henson's The Storyteller.

My first watch of 2022. Post-apocalyptic fiction wishes it could be this movie. I don’t think cinema can get any closer to the horrors of war. Lydia Lunch: The War Is Never Over 2019
This isn’t a documentary that starts from point A and goes to point B. While we do get some of Lunch’s personal history (a flash in the pan shot of her as a little girl, an anecdote about getting a ride from a stranger), the documentary focuses on Lunch’s ideas and themes.
