Kourosh Amini’s review published on Letterboxd:
An original, rich formalism, based on the culture and history of Iran is one of the most important points of Iran's cinema which is the basis of Aslâni's film, yet a lot of the filmmakers today are missing it out, which causes a unidentifiable, unoriginal cinema. Though it might seem fine from outside, deep down it's disastrous and rotten.
