  Loved this. Full commitment to the setting and an awesome turn by the lead and her pup. The predator being in its own relatively primitive era is a great touch. Animal cgi gets a little shaggy, but the practical work and choreography are awesome. Powerfully anti-French. I guess this is/was/would be hard to market, but it’s the type of thing that would generate great word of mouth with a theatrical release. Too bad.
