Kaleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
This reminds me a lot of Fences (which makes sense), it’s basically an acting showcase with a pretty barebones story. Chadwick Boseman is definitely in contention for Best Actor, and Viola Davis for Best Actress. The dialogue was fantastic, and is elevated by the fantastic performances. I just couldn’t really get into what the characters were actually doing, because the story doesn’t give them much. It’s a must see for the performances, but I’ll probably never rewatch it.
