What are "secrets"?
Do secrets melt into the thin air?
Secrets, although unfinished yet they shall never vanish.
The past has never ceased to be beautiful, haunting in every verse, every line, and lyric. Watching Su and Chow interact still feels as raw as an open wound, with my chest being pried open in the process. That’s how much power Wong Kar-wai has over you. He tactfully proves how absences and silences can speak the loudest and how love doesn't need any explanation to be able to bridge wounds that span generations. Happy birthday to you, sir, while the rain still falls on the porch, cold, and heavily laden with memories.
